A Thousand Wishes is formed by an accumulation of dandelion seeds. Created to resemble stalagmites, they are the gathered leftover of wishes made from blowing the seed fluff off dandelions. While trying to blow a dandelion head clean to ensure your wish comes true is mostly a child’s pastime, the act of wishing is not. Wishing, whether for selfish or generous reasons, is really a desire for something that lies outside of our immediate control. Generally the seeds are scattered to the wind as an act of chance to take root where they may, but these wishes have been cloistered to form piles of hopes and dreams
